Below are the dates for the Spring Focus Group meetings. All meetings will have registration beginning at 9:30 and the meetings will run from 10:00 – 12:00. We will send out a registration email sometime in early April. Spring Focus Group meetings are where we give everyone a first look at the IEPWriter enhancements that will go live in the summer.

IEPWriter Enhancements
Below is a list of enhancements that we will be making for the 2018-2019 school year and which will be previewed at the Spring Focus Group meetings.
- Forms print in different languages (preformatted part of the forms) – For this year we will be doing Spanish for Special Ed forms.
- Not starting NOREP from previous ESY NOREP (look at checkbox in NOREP for ESY).
- Ability to bring over data from IEP and ER/RR into FBA – Do for FBA for all text boxes in that document.
- Add notification event for Not Finalized Document (include case manager as part of the output of the notification). Allow district to put in timeline for this notification.
- Better way of handling guardians with different names that live at same address and only want one invite, but have signature lines for both. For multiple parents with same address, have something on the document to handle printing of only one document.
- Way to just print PBSP part of IEP – Separate Generate button for this.
- Act 16 cost calculation (for those that have STaR).
- Multiple selections and other upgrades to Custom Rosters -- Remove LEA ID from custom rosters as selected item, add case manager as display field, add transition and accommodations fields.
- Change Edit rules on Gifted IEP (date and school year) – Hide school year and calculate based on implementation date.
- Add Secondary Exceptionality to Advanced Search for students.
- Add IEP and RR due to My Roster and Student Grid (also color code) – Special Ed, yellow for due in 30 days and red for past due.
- Add Disapprove function for supervisor signature area in STaR.
- Add receipt dates to home page of 504 documents.
- Add notification event of revision not finalized.
- Print option for dashboard calendar.
- Case manager shown for the output of the notification for documents.
- Develop recommended sizes for charts and graphs for users who are uploading to RT.
- Option to print headers on PIMS templates.
- Use updated address when regenerating permission or invitation letters.
- Transition section – Make this section behave like the goals page to keep items expanded.
- On invitation document for transition age, will not automatically check transition services box as there might not always be an outside agency.
- PIMS, PennData – Reorganization of report pages.
- Assignments – Reorganization of detail screen.

OnHand School's EdInsight Instructional Management System
OnHands software just released their latest software version that will now allow users of their software and IEPWriter to directly bring over data from EdInsight when in the Rich Text Boxes of the documents of IEPWriter. When a user is in the rich text box, there will be a new button on the right hand side with the OnHands Logo. When users click on that button, they will get a dropdown of search option which gives the option of Reports or Graphs. Currently only the Reports option is enabled. Once users choose Reports, they will get another dropdown of the available data reports that can be taken from EdInsight and copied into the text box that they are working on. We will continue to work with OnHands to expand the list of data that can be shared between our systems.
