Below are the dates for the Spring Focus Group meetings.  All meetings will have registration beginning at 9:30 and the meetings will run from 10:00 – 12:00. We will send out a registration email sometime in early April. Spring Focus Group meetings are where we give everyone a first look at the IEPWriter enhancements that will go live in the summer.

IEPWriter Enhancements

Below is a list of enhancements that we will be making for the 2017-2018 school year and which will be previewed at the Spring Focus Group meetings.

• Change how we handle passwords and security to better align to web standards.
• Make a user option as to how to handle student search page and saving or not saving search parameters.
• Populate the EBR worksheet for a chosen student.
• Add progress reports for Gifted.
• Add a method to capture whether progress reports were done for a specific period.
• Add a notification to the student home page in the IEP area to identify if the student has a PBSP.
• Make Cover Sheet a district-wide option so that it can be selected to print on every IEP or ER/RR.
• Add PBSP info and ESY goals to the IEP at a glance report.
• Make accommodations be an option that can be selected, rather than an open ended text box, so they can be reported upon and better managed.
• Add a Transfer Contact Person Report.
• Add different filters so that the system will no longer show inactive kids who are 21 or older.
• Look at roster pages to improve performance.
• Make case managers sortable on the student search page.
• Create a district option for turning off data coming from a previous RR document.
• Add a report to CC to assist with Act 16 reporting.
• Redo the service log page for STaR to increase performance speed.

• Update the system to make it easier to make future changes.
• Update e-signatures so that certificates are not required.

OnHand School's EdInsight Instructional Management System

We are currently testing the process of bringing data from EdInsight into IEPWriter into any of the text boxes in the forms.  We will keep the users of EdInsight up to date as to when this will go live.

Using the E-Signature Module for the Medical Practitioner Authorization Form (MPAF)

We have recently made a change so that even if you do not create the IEP in the system, but you have an electronic copy of the student's IEP and upload that document, you can utilize the e-signature module of IEPWriter to get the MPAF form signed.  The system will send the most recent IEP document (whether it was generated or uploaded) along with the MPAF form to the doctor for him/her to review.
