In order for you to set your schedules accordingly, the dates and locations for our Fall Focus Group Meetings are listed below. All meetings will have registration from 9:30 to 10:00 AM, with the meeting from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Rich Text and Tables
At a few of our Spring Focus Group Meetings, some users were not clear on how to access a table property in the rich text editor in order to add or remove rows.
For Windows users, simply right-click on the table and choose Properties. Mac users using Safari or Chrome browsers can use Command Click to simulate a right-click if they do not have a two-button mouse, although most recent Macs ship with a Mighty Mouse device which can be configured for right-clicking. MacBook users who utilize the trackpad can simulate a right-click by gently tapping on the pad with two fingers.
On a Mac using the Firefox browser, it is not possible to edit table properties after the table has been created. |
Test Formats
In order to assist our users the 3.5 release of IEPWRITER contains a default text bank option labeled "Test Formats". Anytime you do a search of the text bank, it is available to you.
This bank was created by users sending us electronic formats of the different types of tests that they are using, and then re-creating them in the text bank for your convenience. Please examine this text bank, and if there are any formats that are missing that your district uses, please submit them to [email protected] and we will add them to the text bank for everyone to use. |
Webinars
We will be holding webinars to go over the new changes that will be released in IEPWRITER this summer. The dates and times for these webinars are July 16th from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and July 18th from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Emails will be sent to all schools with the registration links for these webinars.
Also in July, we will be scheduling training webinars for our STaR module (see below). |
Changes to IEPWRITER
If you were not able to attend the Spring Meetings here are the changes we are making to IEPWRITER:
- Notification Center
- Ability to remove multiple students or staff from rosters at one time
- Allow users to choose which forms they want to transfer with a student, including uploaded documents
- Remember User settings on all grids
- Add Case Manager to dashboard views
- Ability to export all Children Count verification reports to a CSV format
- Change NOREP Options Considered page to work more efficiently
- Change IEP to only allow one Present Level
- Add Default Font Size to District Defaults
- Ability to import any text from a finalized ER/RR into any text area of an IEP
- Show the Case Manager instead of Roster Role on Student listing page for Admin users
- Provide a way to identify if a Read-only user has opened a PDF of an IEP
- New reports: ER/RRs not implemented, and IEP Revisions not implemented
- PIMS Reporting: Allow "0000" Location Codes for IUs

STaR
Leader has determined that it would be best to launch the STaR (Service Tracking and Reporting) module for all interested customers at the beginning of the new school year.
For those who wish to use STaR, we will initiate it when our new version is released, and will also be holding training webinars. Additionally, we will work with the IUs to do training through them. |
