This year has been full of changes due to the unexpected emergence of COVID-19. A big change for us was the absence of the annual Fall focus group meetings. For those not familiar with our normal software upgrade process: Each Fall, we solicit client feedback and requested changes to IEPWriter at focus group meetings. This is where our users can be heard and play an integral role in development. From those proposed items, we make a list of confirmed changes, scheduled for the upcoming school year and released in January. Each Spring, we have another round of meetings and everyone gets a first look at any IEPWriter enhancements we plan to complete in summer.

 

This year called for adaptations. We came up with an initial list (found below) of planned system changes. Many items were taken from prior years' meeting feedback. Now, we need your help. We ask that you please provide feedback on our list as well as anything you'd like to see changed in IEPWriter. Please send any thoughts and/or additional proposed changes to Lewie Astorino

 

We will follow our standard schedule, and the full list of changes will be released in January.
In May, we will record a video of the enhancements in action, so you can provide feedback prior to completion in August of 2021.
